We advise on pre and post contractual matters on Consultancy and Construction contracts and include:
- Assessment and establishing; commercially and contractually, request for proposals/terms and conditions for tenders, negotiations, pre-contract agreements/contracts for consultancy and sub-consultancy services.
- Preparation of tender and contract documentation for construction, plant and design-build and EPC/turnkey contracts based on standard contracts, international contracts such as FIDIC and ICE, and also governmental contracts associated with its laws, regulations, and decrees.
- Assessment, adjudication and resolving post-contract contractual conflicts, claims and disputes by amicable settlement, negotiation, adjudication as the Engineer named in the contract.
- Contractual and commercial support for major projects bids, subcontracting, execution, closeout and delivery.
- Contractual and commercial support for business development, expanding, setup and establishing in new countries in accordance with their local laws and taxes.
The above Services have been already carried out across the Middle East and Africa on a wide cross section of international and major project types including:
- industrial; oil and gas, desalination/ cooling seawater plants, pipelines, and
- coastal/maritime; ports, harbours, jetties, quay walls, pontoons, dredging, and
- airports; and
- water/sewage treatment plants, pump stations, and
- infrastructure, bridges, roads, and
- buildings; governmental, hospitals, corporate headquarters, offices; and
- land development, tourist development; hotels, resorts.
